Prices valid in stores (all including VAT) until close of business on 2nd November 2023. (Some of these web prices are cheaper than in-store, so please mention that you've seen these offers online.) The E11Cs have it. They're more affordable, give you more sound-per-pound and provide a nice, comfy fit. Not that the E80Cs are a bad choice, not by a long way. It's just they're getting quite long in the tooth now, and more impressive models have since sprung up at the same price or even cheaper. It’s also worth pointing out the sensitivity rating of 112dB is pretty high, meaning the SoundMagic E11C in-ears can deliver plenty of volume. It also means they’ll use less of your device’s power at average listening volume, which is a bonus. A new feature on the E10C is a clever three-button remote that works across iOS and Android. Sound quality hasn’t really changed, but if you’re after a bassier sound then that’s no bad thing. SoundMagic might have got rid of the red cable from its headphones, but otherwise the E11Cs look identical to their forebears, with a typical cylindrical, aluminium casing design and a choice of small, medium and large silicone tips, which are also now silver. There’s a storage case, too, which is handy for avoiding cable spaghetti when stashing them in a bag.

SoundMagic E11C review - What Hi-Fi? SoundMagic E11C review - What Hi-Fi?

This isn’t the first time SoundMagic has aimed for a higher-end sounding budget earphone. The SoundMagic E50 were based on the same concept. However the SoundMagic E11C offer the best combo yet of surprising refinement for the price and the kind of bass power and excitement most of us want. Like the E11Cs, the E80Cs are also now fully compatible with all smartphones (the C stands for ‘Compatibility’). Previous incarnations of the range (such as the E10S/ E50S) had a bulky switch that you toggled depending on whether you were using the in-line controls with an Android or Apple smartphone. But now the three-button remote does all the switching automatically, making them much less fussy to use. The SoundMagic E80C buds come with more sizing options – almost a dozen are in the box, in fact. This makes it easy to get a good, comfortable seal that gives you the best bass performance while also staying secure in your ears.Never-ending innovation coming from SoundMAGIC with an update of the acclaimed E10 earphones with the upgraded E10C. While retaining the superb sound qualities of the predecessor, the E10C has been equipped with a 3-button remote with automatic switching between Apple and Android smartphones for interchanging devices with ease. Now, what about the sound? Here SoundMAGIC had a difficult task; E10C was (already) so good, and one would naturally wonder how much improvement could take, while retaining about the same price tag. Of course, nowadays, good quality drivers and precise tuningcan give amazing results. Regardless, the SoundMagic E10C continue in this vein. However, I do quite like the use of metal earpieces. While they won’t stop the cable connection from deteriorating if not looked after, they’re far more likely to survive being trodden on than a cheap plastic earpiece. These versatile earphones offers full management of telephone conversations with the integrated microphone and 3-button button smart remote. The supplied VoIP adaptor transforms the E10C into a multimedia computer headset.

There are a few niggles, though. These are still very much big bass earphones, and as such they can sound quite bulky.Disclaimer: The soundMAGIC E11C was sent to us a sample in exchange for our honest opinion. We thank soundMAGIC& Hifiheadphones.co.uk for this opportunity. The E11Cs have a familiar sound – SoundMagic's sonic signature remains firmly intact on this cheaper pair of headphones. The sound is well-balanced, entertaining and energetic, with a decent level of depth and warmth. Their formula is simple. The SoundMagic E10C have an extremely populist tone. They pile on some extra bass to achieve a full, rich sound, but also offer a wide soundstage and decent treble detail. You get big fun bass, but also enough high-end flavour to conclude, within two bars of music, that these earphones are easily worth their money.

Carefully chosen colours have been combined to make the E10 not only a feast for the ears but the eyes as well. Choose from four vibrant variations to suit your style. The SoundMagic E11C have a less relaxed character than the E10C, but every characteristic that marks out sound quality in a speaker or headphone has been improved. Sound stage, separation, clarity, control and dynamics: all are great in this earphone, considering the price. The sound quality is excellent. The E11C is similar in sound to the SoundMAGIC E50 models. But the E11C has a little more mid and upper-bass warmth to it. To sum up, the bass is well controlled, The mids crystal and the treble super smooth. It’s suitable for all genres, but is outstanding when listening to vocals, acoustic recordings and music making use of “real” instruments. (Sorry techno, you still sound great too though!) Mic & Controls: 9/10 Just about everything else has changed, though. The E11C sound far more dynamic than the E10 and most other budget pairs of earphones.

SoundMagic E10C Review | Trusted Reviews

SoundMAGIC's engineers have tuned the drivers of the E10 to deliver a heavy bottom end. Delivering deep rolling bass balanced with superb musical detail, the E10 creates an exciting and fun listening experience. The most important part of the SoundMagic E10C hardware is the remote. It looks a familiar cylinder of aluminium, with the usual three buttons. However, it’s the first remote of its type I’ve used to offer full cross-platform support, working with iPhones and Android phones alike.SoundMAGIC's acoustic engineers have configured the E10C to create exciting sound with powerful bass and balanced musical detail. The in-ear design combined with the right eartip makes sure the sound is not lost or diluted. Sitting comfortably in the earcanal, the E10C ensures hours of fatigue-free listening fun. The SoundMagic E10C include a remote of the type that we hope to see on all earphones before too long: a full three-button setup that doesn’t penalise Android handset owners. If they only sounded as good as the SoundMagic E10, they wouldn’t stand a chance. Solid pairs from Skullcandy and House of Marley offer similar grade sound and wireless at the same price. However, by upgrading the sound significantly, the E11C have become earphones we’ll recommend just as happily as we did the E10 years ago. Verdict I have used- Sony e115 and mdr xb55ap , JBL T110, Sennheiser cx180 and Cx 2.00, Beyerdynamic Byron👌
