Review Request came out back when I first started rewiewing books, and it was always on my radar, but I picked it up only now, thanks to my friend Amanda who suggested it to be our next buddy read. As soon as I read the premise I was thinking this is going to be like a cheesy horror thriller in the same vain as all those B-level slasher movies that revolve around social media.

As the characters show up throughout the book more details are given about them and their relationship to Louise. And I began pointing my little detective’s finger at everyone and creating the most off the wall scenarios to make them fit. And knowing the extent of the dominating relationship she had with him in the past, I don't understand why she's still all a-tremble in his presence.I have to say, I do use the social media network more than I care to admit, which is why the title of this book grabbed my attention, mainly because I have been dealing with a spate of weird friend request recently, and they always creep me out. A fatal car accident that was anything but accidental has jarred loose a stash of methamphetamines and cash that’s become the center of a battle between the Sons of Freedom, Bakken County’s traditional drug sellers, and MS-13, the Salvadorian upstarts who are muscling in on their territory. Trying to piece together exactly what happened that night, she soon discovers there's much she didn't know. The portrayal certainly explains her willingness to become a submissive wife and makes obvious her gratitude for Sam’s understanding and support.

Nicki came up with such an excellent ending about Maria that I was so sure she had got it right because it would have been amazing! If the character had been built up more I think I would have had a chin on the floor, but that wasn’t the case. I find I can’t look at her for long, and my eyes roam around the kitchen, wanting something mundane to fix on, a break from this bewildering new reality. Thanks to Netgalley and Little, Brown Book Group UK for giving me the opportunity to read this in exchange for an honest review. O plástico em que o livro veio estava com muita poeira, mas acho que isso e devido ao transoorte e não vejo como um grande problema. It’s a setup that leaves scant room for law enforcement officers or for Kyle Westergaard, the 12-year-old paperboy damaged since birth by fetal alcohol syndrome, who’s walked away from the wreck with a prize all too many people would kill for. The story is written in first person, with chapters written in italics, that weren't clear about whom they were about.

Our schooldays are supposed to be the best days of our lives, but they certainly were not for either Louise or Maria. Not only that, who among you can honestly say you haven’t lurked around on someone’s social media page at one time or another?

And now, with the proliferation of people living out their lives in the public arena, it has become almost impossible to hide.
