Description

The MX518 also slides very nicely on almost any generic mouse pad – I’ve been using a ruddy old Nortel pad and the mouse feels very smooth. Polling rate is by default 1000 Hz but it can be adjusted to any of the following: 125 Hz, 250 Hz, 500 Hz and 1000 Hz. But thankfully due to its great success, Logitech re-released the MX518 (AKA Legendary) in 2018 with a refreshed appearance and new internal hardware.

But in my opinion it’s worth every penny and if you’re serious about your gaming, and want to increase your Windows productivity you should give this mouse a try. Other than that though, it has performed extremely well over time but I will go into more detail about its performance after I talk about its specifications. Most parts of it feel cheaply made, the scroll wheel has uneven steps, and the buttons have different pre-travel distances, which is off-putting. Thanks Madduck - I edited my post above as my uncle told me there is a PID which is LNXXXXX, so not as many numbers as yours, but that looks to be the most likely for the serial number.

Although every single review online stated that mouse tracks from height of 2 DVDs, in my case, it doesn’t. There is a hope that over time of using it, it will become smoother as with original MX 518 scrolls did. Quote from: munch on Fri, 05 December 2014, 13:37:19 Rival has way worse materials/build quality than the MX518, IMO/IME. Technical Specs Sensor, Lift Off distance and rest of the specifications for the Logitech G MX518 mouse.First off, most of the time it doesn’t work – even as I am typing this in Microsoft Word with two other applications and a folder open, after pressing the button the application menu doesn’t come up. Yeah the things you mentioned would really bother me, I do not want unnecessarily many buttons or options, just a good mouse with great build quality. In-game switching to three sensitivity levels (1,600, 800, and 400 dpi resolution) facilitates precise targeting and fast-evasion gaming.
